Welcome to Homelit™. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Homelit mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by HOMELIT DIGITAL LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company ("Homelit," "we," "us," or "our").
You must be at least 17 years old to use Homelit. By using the Service, you represent that:
You may create an account by signing in with Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account, and to update it as needed.
You are responsible for safeguarding access to your device and Apple ID. Notify us immediately at hello@homelit.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Homelit provides AI-powered interior design tools that allow you to:
The Service is provided as a creative tool. AI-generated images are interpretive renderings and do not constitute professional design, architectural, or engineering advice.
"Your Content" means any photos, images, or other materials you upload to the Service. You retain all ownership rights to Your Content.
By uploading Your Content, you grant Homelit a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you. This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except where we are required to retain it for legal compliance.
By uploading content, you represent and warrant that:
Designs generated by Homelit's AI based on Your Content are owned by you for personal and commercial use, subject to these Terms. We make no claim of ownership over your generated designs.
We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to remove or refuse to process content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful, inappropriate, or otherwise objectionable.

Violations may result in immediate termination of your account and, where applicable, legal action.
Homelit offers free and paid subscription tiers. Free accounts have limited generations per month. Paid tiers (such as "Pro") provide higher limits and additional features. Specific tier features and pricing are displayed in the app and may change over time.
All paid subscriptions are processed by Apple through your iTunes/App Store account. Apple's Terms of Service apply to your purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your iPhone's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have paid access until that date.
All sales are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policy. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple, not to Homelit. We do not control or have authority over Apple's refund decisions.
We may change subscription prices. If we increase the price of your subscription, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance, and you may cancel before the new price takes effect.

Homelit participates in the Amazon Associates Program and may participate in other affiliate programs. When you tap "Shop This Look" or similar links, you are redirected to third-party retailers. We may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you.
Inclusion of links to third-party products is not an endorsement. We do not control third-party retailers' product quality, availability, pricing, shipping, returns, or customer service.
Your use of third-party websites and services is governed by those parties' terms and privacy policies. Homelit is not responsible for third-party content, products, or services.
The Service, including all software, designs, text, graphics, logos, and the "Homelit" name and brand, is owned by HOMELIT DIGITAL LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use (or commercial use of generated designs as provided in Section 4.4).
If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service ("Feedback"), you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use that Feedback for any purpose without compensation to you.
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account) or by emailing hello@homelit.app.
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive (including Sections 4.4, 7, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 16) will survive termination.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOMELIT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
We do not warrant that:
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL HOMELIT, ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
HOMELIT'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO HOMELIT IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HOMELIT DIGITAL LLC and its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to first contact us at hello@homelit.app to attempt to resolve the matter informally. We commit to working with you in good faith for at least 30 days.
If informal resolution fails, any legal action must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Hennepin County, Minnesota, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
You agree that any disputes will be resolved on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative action against Homelit.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Homelit regarding the Service.
If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
These Terms do not create any third-party beneficiary rights, except that Apple, Inc. is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and has the right to enforce them against you.
